Upscaled texture pack for Super Robot Wars UX (Repost)
Upscaled texture pack for decrypted Super Robot Wars UX for Citra 3DS emulator.
How to use:
Download latest Citra (Canary version) and make sure that it has the 'Use custom textures' feature. After you run the game once in the emulator it should appear in the list of games at the start. Right click on UX's icon and click on open custom textures location, place the images inside the compressed folder there. Before starting the game make sure the emulator has enabled the "use custom textures" on Emulation>Configuration>Graphics. Also make sure to use a 2x, or 4x resolution, otherwise you'll just play in normal resolution.
If you don't have the decrypted .3ds file of the game, it is not difficult to find if you search for 'srw ux decrypted' in google.
Note: I started this project on stage 20, so anything before that could appear with the normal low resolution.
In this post I'll collect ripped assets as they appear. This time, as is now usual I'm not able to rip anything so I depend on external sources, mainly sar777 who has worked hard to share extracted files here in the chatbox during the last years.
Super Robot Wars X-Omega Complete Sprite batch (Sept-21-2017)
Thanks to the incredible Nox emulator I managed to download all the data and easily transfer the files to PC. This is now a complete sprite collection up to this date. I will try to complete the extraction with the 3D files soon. Added Live 2D data so you can watch Cut-Ins in Live2D Viewer!
Super Robot Wars Cross Omega batch (Until July-3-2017)
Thanks to user ZZA I've been able to extract data from the game by myself. Here is an almost complete batch of everything until this date. I may have missed a couple of units, decoding the files is a little messy. But your favorite robots are probably there. Sprite data is in PNG format and 3D data is in FBX format (Use Noesis to export). Please cope with the adfly link, a little money is always nice.
Next update could be around december, unless I really want something before that date.
Some sprites in the SRW V rip have palette problems. If anyone knows how to re-arrange the palette order please let me know in a comment here, or in the chatbox. (Get the sprites in SRWV's weapon download)
